HOUDINI AWAKE!

THIS SHOW HAS A STORY

Passing on to the afterlife (1.  "A la Marat") Warhol drums
a message from Earth that painting too is dead.

Lost in dreams,  (2.  Video: "Goodbye, Houdini!")
Houdini hears the rumbling message and fearing
that it might signal the death of all arts, even
the magical, he awakens. (3. "Resuscitated")

He swirls the air in his hands, producing an extraordinary
instrument (4. "Eye End") whose eyepiece enables him first
to sight and then to summon to life those special souls
who might yet rescue painting from Warhol's warning
drumbeat.

Houdini commands those special souls to travel back through
the Passage of Time, unlocking its portal easily.  Back tumble
those souls into the light, restored to life --- with some
surprising results:  (5.  "Barreled I")   (6.  "Barreled II")
(7. "Canned") --- but also with some success: (8. "Discovered")

Einstein emerges fully empowered, his reason sharp, his
gentle hand touching a painted flower.
